Puppy Crate Training

Basic crate training that includes boarding and training following the 8 week mark

Two Week Crate Training/Intro

Beginning at 8 weeks, pups are housed in individual crates with a member of the family. They are introduced to the crate and raised in the house as we would any pup. We take them for outings for car experience, and begin introducing the collar and leash. We hand feed and ask for sit before feeding at this stage.

Four week Crate training/basic

This is built on the intro training and continues with more experiences, more house privileges and basic obedience. Very solid foundation for those wanting a slightly older pup.

New Owner Consultation

This is a new(2022) requirement for the training packages. You will get an hour training session with your new pup to allow for continuation of the work we have been doing.

Please contact us directly to reserve you spot for training as it is subject to availability. Puppy must be paid for at the 8 week mark for training to begin.

Why Training Is So Important

Training your puppy makes life easier. It makes it easier for you to control your dog, for groomers to handle your dog, and your vet be able to give exams.

It adds fun to your walk if your dog can walk properly. It's easier to take good dogs out on fun adventures. It's less stress and less worry, knowing your dog can come to you when an emergency occurs.

Dogs are happier being trained. They thrive on the bond between dog and owner. They truly become a family member that you trust.

Training also encourages socialization which is very important. To create a well-rounded dog, you need to take it to training classes and take it out to be socialized. With the proper care, your dog will be a happy go lucky dog with manners who isn't afraid of anything and loves everybody.

The best dogs are best bred and best trained. They always go hand in hand. To encourage our puppy buyers to train their dogs to become a great dog citizen, we have set up an training incentive program. This is a great program especially for kids to encourage a stronger bond. It empowers them to be a better trainer and owner which in turn will make the dog a great part of the family.

We will reimburse once we see the certificate of what you have completed. I hope this will help you gain an appreciation of working with your dog and our hope is maybe it also will inspire you to do more.
